Autumn Updates: What’s New at Proxfinity
It’s been a busy summer for the team here at Proxfinity, so we wanted to share some exciting updates we’ve made to our product, software, and team! In the last few months, we’ve been working tirelessly to refine and upgrade the ResCUE platform to meet the needs of our growing customer base - whether they’re on a factory floor or in an executive suite. And it all starts with even more accurate reporting.
First, we’ve added a “tag” feature so you can organize badge data into specific custom categories like job type and location. Do you have separate crews for your morning and evening shifts? No problem, simply assign the appropriate tag to each set of badges for easier data review. We’ve also done away with preset time frames, so you can track your data, your way. Instead of viewing data in increments such as “past 24 hours” or “past 30 days,” you can now select any start date to track the time frame of your choosing, and download reports based on these ranges.
In addition, we’ve added an automated reporting feature. To use this feature, just list a set of criteria, and whenever those criteria are matched, a report will automatically be sent to you. Whether you only want a full workforce analysis every Friday, or want an immediate report on any interactions occurring within six feet for over 15 minutes, our automated reporting feature will get you the data you need, when and how you need it.
There’s a reason we’ve made so many exciting improvements to ResCUE’s back-end software. We’ve brought on Justin Edwards as our new Chief Technology Officer, outsourced from our successful partnership with Devwrx, to shepherd our platform into the future. He joins us after 10 years of working in emerging tech and cyber security, and will help drive developments for our software architecture. You could say he’s pretty tech-savvy, since he’s been building computers since he was a kid. It was that curiosity and hunger for a challenge that brought him to Proxfinity. He’s excited to help solve the pressing, real-world problem of contact tracing in the workplace and loves Proxfinity’s privacy-centric approach to data collection, as well as our use of IoT to produce more accurate distance calculations than Bluetooth-reliant contact tracing solutions.
And don’t worry - great updates to our software doesn’t mean the hardware side of the house hasn’t been working hard. We’ve introduced a new badge clip for easy wearing, no matter the uniform or safety gear employees have on, and new charging stations to keep ResCUE badges operational longer. We’ve got even more great new developments happening behind the scenes and look forward to sharing them with everyone soon!
That said, ResCUE is already hard at work keeping folks safe in the field. Currently, there are thousands of badges in operation across dozens of cities in a myriad of different industries, including manufacturing, logistics and packaging, film production and finance. We look forward to adding many more in the coming months.
At the end of the day, this virus isn’t slowing down, so neither are we in helping combat it. We continue to work tirelessly to provide businesses with the solutions necessary to stay ahead of Covid-19.
